Sleep outside Monaco, come in by train. In June 2026 the average hotel night in Monaco topped €1,260, and nearly €3,950 on Grand Prix Saturday. Menton is about ten minutes away by train, Nice about twenty.
What is confirmed
The 2027 Monaco Grand Prix runs from 4 to 6 June, round eight of the championship. The Automobile Club de Monaco opens the event on Thursday 3 June with the support races. It is the first sprint weekend in Monaco’s history.
- Thursday 3 June: F3, Porsche Supercup and F2 practice.
- Friday 4 June: F1 first practice and sprint qualifying.
- Saturday 5 June: F1 sprint, then Grand Prix qualifying.
- Sunday 6 June: F3, F2 and Supercup races, drivers’ parade, then the Grand Prix.
Provisional programme, with no session times yet.
Tickets
Official 2027 ticket sales opened on 1 October 2026: on monaco-grandprix.com, in the official Grand Prix app, or at the Automobile Club desk, 44 rue Grimaldi, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. The weekend and Grand Prix packs are already sold out; day tickets are still on sale. Twenty seats maximum per order. Grandstands are not wheelchair accessible. Hospitality goes on sale “soon”.
These are 2026 benchmarks reported by the Monaco press. The 2027 prices are published on the official site as images: check them before comparing.
Getting there: take the train
Formula 1 itself recommends Monaco-Monte-Carlo station, 10 to 15 minutes’ walk from the circuit. On a normal day the TER (regional train) links Nice and Monaco in about twenty minutes (€6.10) and Menton and Monaco in about ten (€4.10). By car, the Salines car park offers €10 a day with a free shuttle to Fontvieille. In 2026 Monaco’s buses were free all Grand Prix week.
The circuit goes up long before the race: in 2026 traffic changed from 23 February and only returned to normal on 17 July. If you visit Monaco in spring, plan for it. Leaving: ride-hailing cars cannot pick up in Monaco. See taxis, ride-hailing and parking.
