THE MAMETAS VERDICT

Menton for budget and proximity. Monaco for simplicity. Nice if you are combining tennis with seeing the Riviera. In 2025 and 2026 a temporary train stop by the club was served only from the Menton side, with a change in Monaco for the way back; 2027 is not confirmed yet.

What is confirmed

The 2027 tournament runs from Saturday 3 to Sunday 11 April. Qualifying is on 3 and 4 April, the first round also starts on the Sunday, and the final is on Sunday 11 April: doubles at noon, singles at 3pm. Play usually starts at 11am and gates open at 9.30am.

Tickets

General sale opened on 15 October 2026, after a priority sale for 2026 buyers. Everything goes through the official shop: day tickets, multi-day passes, hospitality packages and the Grande Nuit du Tennis. Tickets are sold court by court: Court Rainier III, the centre court, Court des Princes or Court E-A de Massy. Check which court yours covers before the day.

Getting there without a car

From Menton: about ten minutes by regional train. In 2026 the temporary Monte-Carlo Country Club stop, about 500-600 metres from Entrance 4, was served in one direction only, for spectators coming from the Menton side, and was not wheelchair accessible. Trains back towards Menton do not stop there: return via Monaco-Monte-Carlo station or the Zou! line 600 bus.

From Nice: the TER (regional train) reaches Monaco-Monte-Carlo in about 23 minutes. From there, take a Monaco bus: the 2026 access guide listed lines 1 and 4 to Saint-Roman, and lines 5 and 6 to Larvotto. The whole Monaco bus network was also free from Monday 6 to Friday 10 April 2026. The Zou! line 600 bus (Nice-Monaco-Menton) also stops at Saint-Roman.

By car: the recommended car park in 2026 was Les Salines in Monaco, €6 a day, with a free shuttle. The rest of the area is tight. Leaving the Monaco side by ride-hailing car has its own rules: see taxis, ride-hailing and parking.
