Unlike a Promenade palace, this is more of a full-service city hotel: central, polished and built for people who actually intend to use the hotel between outings.

Book it when the hotel itself needs to earn part of the holiday. If you only need a bed in central Nice, this is a rather expensive way to get one.

- You want a Nice Rainbow luxury option in the city centre.
Look elsewhere if...
- You mainly want to be in Old Nice.
