Very central, very polished, very five-star. The sort of place that makes a first stay remarkably easy, provided you do not ask your credit card for its opinion.
Why we keep it
You walk to Masséna, the Promenade, Old Nice and the Carré d'Or. For four days without a car, it is hard to find a more convenient location.
The rooftop adds something you can only get here. An excellent room can exist anywhere; a drink above Nice is rather more local.
Who it suits
- You want a contemporary five-star hotel right in the centre.
- You will actually use the spa and rooftop.
- You value convenience over absolute seclusion.
Look elsewhere if...
- You dream of a hidden little Niçois house.
- You plan to drive out of Nice every single day.
- You dislike highly polished international hotels.
