Who it suits
This is the opposite of a bed-only hotel. The waterfront setting, spa and heated seawater pool justify staying put; the station is still only about 400 m away when you do want to move.
The catch
You are paying for the property to be part of the holiday. If most days are spent on trains and day trips, a simpler Beaulieu hotel is the smarter buy.
